The City of Medford Planning Department is engaged in exciting planning projects as it works to support the redevelopment of its downtown, enhance the livability of its neighborhoods, and update its city-wide strategic vision plan. Medford is a growing community and we are experiencing increasing workloads in long range and current planning divisions. We are seeking three (3) ambitious and talented planners to join our team in the Planner II or III position. (Up to 10% additional salary differential for certification, education, or bilingual in Spanish/English.)

Ideally, one to three years of professional planning experience, preferably in the public sector, to perform the job effectively; and graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in urban or regional planning or an area of study as deemed necessary, ideal, or required and/or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties.
Preferred Certificate: American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP)
