Metro Council President Candidates Forum - the OAPA is excited to host this event, Wednesday, March 10th from 5:30-7:30pm in the Heritage Room, Bridgeport BrewPub - in the Pearl District. We have closed the online registration for this event. There will be some tickets available at the door.

PSU Students requesting survey input - Sage Places, a group of five students in the Master of Urban and Regional Planning program at Portland State University, is working on a workshop project involving older adults and planning. They are conducting a survey to learn more about how planners work with and engage older adults in planning processes. The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Planning Commissioner Training for 2009-2010 This the third year that the Oregon Chapter of the American Planning Association (OAPA) is partnering with the Nohad A. Toulan School of Urban Studies and Planning at Portland State University to provide a monthly, nine-part training series for planning commissioners. Trainings will be every 2nd or 3rd Friday @ 10AM beginning on October 16th and continuing through June and will be streamed live on the web. Schedule and info.
