Administers and interprets the county’s development ordinances, answering questions from the public, advising on compliance and assisting in the preparation of various applications. Research, develop, and analyze comprehensive plans; assists other county and local governments on such matters; provides specific recommendations on land use.
Two-years work experience in land use planning and graduation from a four-year college or university with major course work in planning or a related field. A Masters degree may be substituted for one year of experience. Any satisfactory combination of experience and training, which demonstrates the ability to perform the work, described above. Must possess valid Oregon driver’s license.
