The design of our communities—where we live, learn, work, and play—can have a greater impact on how healthy we are than how often we visit
a doctor. Research shows that people living in communities that have access to healthy food and that are designed to make it safe and convenient
to walk or bike, have lower rates of chronic disease than those that don’t. Join planners, health professionals, and others working to create healthier
communities. Note: Space is limited and may fill up, lunch is not included.
