The 2017 Oregon Legislative session is over. Do you know what happened to land use related legislation? While the transportation package got most of the press, a variety of other land use bills passed related to affordable housing, economic development, and non-aggregate mining. We’ve invited Erin Doyle from the League of Oregon Cities, Mark Nystrom from the Association of Oregon Counties, and Ellen Miller from the Department of Land Conservation and Development to join Damian Syrnyk, OAPA’s Legislative and Policy Advisory Committee Chair, to talk about how the bills passed in the 2017 legislative session will impact planners and communities across the state.
