Planning Webcast Consortium
In addition to webinars regularly presented by the Chapter, OAPA is a member of the Planning Webcast Consortium, which hosts a series of webinars throughout the year. The series’ 90-minute webinars are hosted by various chapters and divisions of APA and are available almost every Friday from 10:00-11:30 am. All consortium webinars are free to OAPA members and Division members and qualify for 1.5 CM credits.
Urban Design Panel
OAPA is also a co-sponsor of the Urban Design Panel - a monthly meeting of people interested in urban design issues in the Portland Metro area and is open to all APA, AIA and ASLA members. The UDP meets at noon on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, normally at the Center for Architecture in NW Portland. Meetings are temporarily on Zoom. Past UDP meetings have included presentation and discussions on the proposed replacement of the Burnside Bridge in Portland, the Southwest Corridor Light Rail Project, and creation of an equitable development plan for transit-oriented districts in NW Portland and NE Portland.
